Our new in-house marketing department
Having taken an innovative route to build, grow and maintain one of the largest online construction merchants, Construction Materials Online (CMO) identified the need for specialist software and a strong business identity. We chose national web and creative agency dv8media to build and maintain our websites as well as provide the services of a marketing department. After working alongside the team closely for the branding and launch of Roofing Superstore and Drainage Superstore, we decided to bring their services in-house, acquiring them in May of 2015. The dv8media team continued to be a valuable part of our team despite working from an office away from our main site.
Towards the end of December 2015, it was felt that productivity and the efficiency of internal communications would be boosted if the team were to move into the CMO office. Having continued to hire more employees into the business almost monthly, the expansion of our existing site also allowed us to accommodate a larger customer service team. It took just one day to move the dv8media team into their freshly painted and newly carpeted office and they’ve settled nicely, improving our internal processes.
