CMO bolt-on Door Superstore with sales through the roof
CMO’s fourth specialist website, Door Superstore, has seen record sales in the first two months of trading.
Launched in October, Door Superstore has already achieved sales of over £350,000 – six times the amount seen by two previous store launches by CMO. Door Superstore has reached this level eight months faster than its sister stores.
CEO Andy Dunkley said: “We’re delighted by the success of Door Superstore so far, which has exceeded our expectations. It sets a precedent for successful business acquisitions and organic growth into new markets in future, which is largely due to the existing infrastructure within our business and a rapidly growing customer base.”
The store was previously trading as Doorweb, which brought in website sales of £50,000 per month. Now as Door Superstore, it has attracted over 1,200 customers since launching on 1 October 2018 – 14 times as many as previous stores in the same timescale. The store’s website has received over 100,000 visits in total.
In addition, the customer service team has received nearly 2,000 emails and over 2,000 phone calls, maintaining its reputation for giving CMO customers the on-hand support upon which they have come to rely. This is shown in the Trust Score from public review site Trustpilot, which is already 8.9 out of 10.
CMO’s plans are ambitious, with new store launches and exclusive features and opportunities for trade customers in the pipeline for 2019 and beyond.
